What is Unrehearsed Shakespeare?
This unique approach revives the original performance practices of Shakespeare’s time—with no director and no traditional rehearsal.
-
Actors receive individual scrolls containing only their lines and brief cues.
-
Performances are shaped by clues in the First Folio text, revealing Shakespeare’s intentions.
-
As in Shakespeare’s day, only fights, dances, and songs will be staged in advance.
-
Expect a high-energy, on-your-feet experience that keeps both performers and audiences fully engaged.
Why Audition?
If you’re passionate about Shakespeare, love bold experimentation, and want to embrace the thrill of discovery on stage, this is for you. Each performance is fresh, unpredictable, and alive—a true celebration of theatre at its most immediate.
